Thomas Neyhart is the current CEO at PosiGen. Thomas Neyhart has been in the solar market for a long time. He is considered to be an industry expert in his degree. He has also cofounded and started several companies within the industry such as Brighter Planet, HelioVolt, Bright Energy, and others. He has also been a founding member of the World Future Council where he has served as the vice president in 2009 and FPVendors in 2009.

Thomas Neyhart went to Tokyo in late 2015 to help raise funds for breakthrough systems on the 45th floor of Kyocera Tower 1 block with partners NTT DoCoMo Research Institute Direct, Solar City, National Instruments, and SMI.

Led by Thomas Neyhart, PosiGen has made the administration of its Community Power Purchasing Program (CP3). This program allows individuals with personal contributions to purchase direct energy directly from hundreds of PosiGen’s solar Virtual Power Plants (PVPs) around the world. In addition, the company gives access to real solar-generated electricity through a service offered to 130 customers in 2010.
